Pastor Daryl Johnson born July 23,1971 in Dayton, OH. His first experience with God was at the age of 6 years old. At the time he was a member of Faith Temple Church of God, under the pastorate of Bishop Eugene Ringer. He served under the leadership as a jr. deacon, choir member, maintenance and many other positions.
He preached his first sermon at the age of 19, "Expect the unexpected" at the Santa Clara Church. Shortly after, God had given the calling of a Pastor, but it would take him a journey naturally and spiritually, before that calling would come to past. He joined The Good Shepherd Church, under the pastorate of Pastor Evelyn Harbut, he stayed there with her guidance and support and became more confident of his calling to be a Pastor.
At the church he became more involved in a few of the ministries. He would minister at the nursing homes, area prisons, shelters. He became involved in the community, which has been the desire the whole time, to spread the news about Jesus Christ. Pastor Daryl became well aware of where his life should be going and he began to realize that the calling wasn't just to preach, but to help in his community. He became involved with a program that worked with juvenile boys at the detention center. The program was to get them back on track and finish their education and move on to a better life.
When he was 23 years old he needed to follow his convictions and he would began to seek for a path that would lead him to his future. He became a member of a COGIC church. He served as a youth leader, youth bible study teacher, sunday school teacher, vacation bible, minister.
At the age of 24, he was joined in union with Tammy M.(Adkins) Johnson on February 2, 1994. There are 5 children from that union, and they have been happily married for 15 years.
